Oh that is wonderful news, Linda! Thank you so much. I’m so chuffed to be in Bonnies first edition, shes so inspiring. Thanks for following a long here :)
She is SO inspiring. I would have never heard of pattern design if it weren't for her. I would've gone through life never thinking about where are these beautiful patterns come from! LOL
Helen, I love this! The merriment of the Mews crew! How wonderful you all found each other and supported each other and continue to do so! I will never forget when my friend and I popped in at Dobbin Mews and met you. How lovely and inviting you were to us. It was also the beginning of my Dealtry scarf collection!! 💖
Elvy! I remember that day too, it was so lovely to meet you both after being online pals. I do miss making scarves, bit of a labor of love that business. Writing this letter about the gals really brought back to me what a fortunes time of my life that was. I miss that hubbub of activity, the laughs and inspiration of being around all those amazing creatives. You may be my biggest collector of Dealtry scarves ❤️! Those pieces carry so many memories and stories in their threads. Perhaps our paths will cross again in Hudson ;) - until then, thank you for the lovely reminder of those special Mews days. Sending you warmest wishes!
My pleasure, Anne. I found it to be such a fun change to paint directly onto the final product:) I am not good at ceramics sadly or I feel like I'd want to just make dishes forever.
It was nice to revisit those years again for this newsletter :) These ladies were fearless and so talented, they had extra paper to practice on but just got straight to the clay!
Thanks Gayle! We had a lotta fun :) It's always the best time collaborating with a friend isn't it? Had a wonderful time with the ladies that came that day.
I found you in the very first edition of Pattern by Bonnie Christine! I'm now a fan..and a subscriber.

Love every minute of it then and now. Here’s to more reunions 🤎

How fun would it be have a curated dish collection of your own painted pottery! Memories on every piece.
What a dream. A diary of dishes..... Swoon.
Adore this full circle moment!! And wow either you’re a really good teacher or everyone was a crazy talent (or both)!

Aren't they all so fab??! I'm so glad you got to experience some of the Mews time too. It feels like yesterday and 100 years ago, ha!
