Hello chaps,
This week I felt the need to have a good clean out at the studio. At home, Dan always knows when I might be frazzled mentally because I haul out the vacuum and 'have at' the house - it always lends me some sense of order. Perhaps you can relate? The studio clear out involved discarding wilted chrysanthemums from my workshop, putting the studio back after a private lesson, and remixing some colors in my little pots. Some might call it procrastinating (and they'd not be entirely wrong), but I also like a good straighten-up before starting a new project at the studio. Some exciting things to share soon!
For You:
I’m offering my subscribers a very rare 20% off site-wide with code SPARKLE20 (excludes workshops) valid through December 5th 2024.
Eating:
I'm in pre-holiday prep mode at home too. We're heading over to Colu and Chad's for TG, as has been our tradition these past few years. Colu is doing a Coq au Vin, Chad is making a good looking potato dish and I'm bringing dessert and a chicken liver pâté. As I was googling some of my favorite chefs' recipes, I noticed the first query under my search was "Can you eat too much chicken liver pâté" - it did make me chortle. I'm going with this recipe by Ruth Reichl; love that she pops an apple in!
